Pastor -
Bro. John Hooser
Bro. John and his wife, Carolynn, have been a beloved part of the Castle Hills family for many years. John answered the call to ministry in 1972 and has spent more than five decades faithfully preaching the Word of God. His sermons are marked by passion, conviction, and excitement, always pointing people to the hope found in Jesus Christ. With a shepherd’s heart, he seeks to encourage, guide, and challenge the church to grow deeper in faith and to live boldly for Christ. Carolynn serves faithfully alongside him, providing strength and support in both life and ministry. She teaches the Life Class, one of our adult Sunday School classes, which welcomes people of all ages. Her teaching is marked by wisdom, warmth, and a love for building community. Together, Pastor John and Carolynn are committed to helping people grow in their relationship with the Lord while fostering a spirit of unity and love within the church family. Their vision for Castle Hills is simple but profound: to be a Christ-centered church that reaches the lost, disciples believers, and serves the community with compassion. They believe that every person who walks through the doors of Castle Hills is a valued part of God’s plan and deserves to hear the life-changing message of the Gospel. Bro. John and Carolynn count it a blessing to serve at Castle Hills and to walk alongside this congregation in faith. Their greatest joy is seeing lives transformed by the power of God’s Word and hearts drawn closer to Christ.
