First  Baptist Church of Castle Hills Children’s department feel Children are a gift from God. We as a church and as Christians have a responsibility to teach them about God's word and about who he is. We have a team of God fearing people that will teach them and be there for them day or night. We teach traditional ways from lesson books but also use everyday life to show children how to rely on God in a time of need.

We do have small classes for Sunday school and offer extended session during Sunday Morning service. During this time we explore different things that are in the Bible and are still here today. We always encourage reading their Bible daily and to pray daily. We always have prayer requests and a prayer chain. A child is never too young to pray. We are learning about charity. This can be done by service even if we don’t not have money.

We teach music and join the adult choir sometimes for special performances. Jesus loves each child and never wanted them turned away. We want to let children know the Bible is fun and there are many adventures that we can take from just reading the Bible and use it as a learning tool for any problem they may face. 

We do offer activities as well.These change monthly so if you are interested please contact me or one of the teachers to get more information.I will send out letters letting parents know what we are doing and when.                                                                                                                                   

 

Our children do love to read and MS Ozell and I are trying to redo the rooms for our class to give them a reading space.  We will have a craft space were we can do craft and science projects. 

 

 

It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD.

 

 

Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
