Our Belief System

We believe that the gospel of Christ is the hope of the world, and it's the heart of the church to bring that hope to others.  This belief is the foundation of our church and informs all we preach, teach, and practice.

Additionally, we believe the Bible is the inspired word of God.   We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  We believe Jesus is the son of God, taking on humanity to reveal God to the world.  He is the savior of this world, taking on our sins through death on the cross and resurrecting so that we might live eternally with God.   We believe the Holy Spirit dwells in believers and empowers them to live Godly lives.. We also believe in the power of prayer and encourage believers to take everything to God in prayer.

Bible Study

We go through the Orchard studying different books of the Bible.  We are now in Proverbs.  Come join us on Wednesdays 7:00 pm

Kids ministry

Let's face it no parent looks forward to the weekly battle of getting kids ready for church.  None of us wants church to be a place our kids dread going.  And the good news is-we don't think it has to be!  It's our hope that by creating  fun, exciting environments where kids can experience God in new ways will help make church a place your kids can't wait to go .    We believe our Children's ministry creates just that.  Our Children's Director Brenda Wrinkle loves the kids and makes things fun for them whether Sunday School,  Children's Church or special activities the kids always have a blast.  Ms. Ozell Gibbs is also one of Children's teachers with Ms. Brenda.  She has been teaching here for many years and it is such a passion for her.

the crew!  wednesday nights

Our young adults meet  and have Bible study on Wednesday nights.  They discuss real life topics and discuss how Biblical principles can help them deal with daily life.  These kids came up with the name of their group. The teachers Bob and Maria Hughes are great with this group because they have alot of experience with kids- they raised 6!  The kids have a great time and look forward to coming.  Classes go during the school year.  They will resume in August.

We support our missionaries both local and abroad.
